Our New Chapter Books - Diverse and Inclusive Books For School - Please can you help?

At Boynton Primary School, we believe that reading and writing are paramount to the children being successful and independent learners across our CREATIVE curriculum. We intend to deliver a curriculum which creates a culture where children enjoy reading often, for pleasure and immerses our children in wonderfully written texts which instill a lifelong LOVE of reading.

With this in mind we are working with a company called ‘A New Chapter Books’ to help us provide all our children with a broad range of books covering a wide range of themes and topics, such as diversity and inclusion and also class sets of good quality literature.

Below is a URL for our school’s book wishlist. If you click on the link you will be able to view our school’s personalised wish list of books, which will be updated regularly.

If you would be kind enough or are able to perhaps have a look at the list and purchase a book online for our school, our children would be extremely grateful.

Once you have chosen a book, you will be asked if you would like to include a message to the school to go with the book and then the company will then post the book to school for our children to enjoy, either in our school or class libraries.

We would love it if you could share the URL with other family members or perhaps your place of work, in the hope that Mount Pleasant pupils will be able to benefit from the generosity of people in our community and will enable every child to have access to some superb quality books.
