Welcome to the Activities Page

On this page you'll see the wide variety of things that we get up to as a school both inside and outside the school building. You'll be able to see our children at work in their classrooms and outside too.

Some of the photo walls here will show school trips. We seek to give our children a wide range of life experiences so that they can grow and understand the world around them. Tips out into the local area give the children the opportunity to explore as part of a group and brings the class into corporate learning experiences that can be developed later on in the classroom.

We also make much use of guest speakers and teachers. It's great to tap into the specialisms of others and to bring real quality learning to our school.

Using the internet to help researching information

Here you can see some of our children sharing how they using the interent to assist them in their learning. You can see that they've been looking at the subject of mountains and can demonstrate their learning through written description and discussion.

Creating electric circuits in KS1

Here you can see our children creating electric circuits. They are also recording what they have done and found out.

Robin wood Residential Visit

We had a great time on our Robin Wood residential visit. You can see from the photo wall the wide variety of activities that we achieved.

Class 2 and the 1920s

Class 2 have been looking at the 1920s. You can see that we've tried on clothes from that era, played games and sampled the food.

Design and Technology

Class 1 Activate

Keeping fit and healthy is a part of school life. In class 1 we often do Activate at the start of the school day. It helps us focus well and get ready to learn for the rest of the day.

Gardening

Our children are involved in developing a garden in our school grounds. It's great fun to plant, feed, weed, and see them grow.

Music

You can see our pupils learning to play a variety of musical instruments together. We all learn at the same time and its great fun. We're getting better and better all the time.

Class 1 - Sand Play

Some of our children are discovering the science of mixing water and sand to build. You can see them making progress in this short video.

RHB School Trip

Have a look at the photos of our RHB school trip. You can see that we had a great time on the beach and in the village. It was great to discover so many things together.

Soap Topic

We had a great fun in science week. There was so much to do and so many different types of activities and experiences. We looked at all kinds of science problems and we learnt a lot too.
